WWW Wednesday! (09/28/22)

Hello and welcome to a very late-night WWW Wednesday! 🥰

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words.

All you have to do is answer the Three Ws:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Recently, I started The Idiot by Elif Batuman. And though I haven’t gotten very far yet, I’m enjoying it! The writing is immaculate and I’m excited to see where Selin’s story goes.

In the mood to read something quick and fun earlier today, I picked up the first volume of Himouto! Umaru-chan by Sankakuhead. I’ve always loved the anime version and have had the manga sitting around for a while now. It is just as hilarious and adorable as I remembered!

To kick off October, I’m thinking of starting Carmilla by Sheridan Le Fanu. I’m a huge fan of Carmen Maria Machado’s writing, who edited this version, so I can’t wait to read this one. I’m also considering A Certain Hunger by Chelsea G. Summers. All in all, I’m thrilled to be starting the spooky reads soon!

Are there any spooky books that you’re looking forward to reading this October?

I wish you all a lovely Wednesday night and lots of happy reading! 💕
