Hello all and happy Wednesday! 🥰
WWW Wednesday is hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words. I’m thrilled to be participating in this weekly meme!
All you have to do is answer the Three Ws:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently, I’m making my way through Her Body and Other Parties. Carmen Maria Machado’s short story collection is exquisite — each story so far has left me absolutely stunned. I’ve been taking my time with this one to really soak up the stories, rather than rushing through. This is my pick for Hispanic Heritage Month and I’m loving it so far!

I recently finished If We Were Villains by M.L. Rio. Oliver Marks has just served ten years in prison for a crime he may or may have not committed. Overall, I enjoyed this one. Still, I don’t think it fully met my expectations so I keep going back and forth on my final rating. Mostly, I was happy to be reading more dark academia, as always.

To be honest, I’m not too sure what I’ll read next. All I know is I’m leaving the spooky reads for October. So, it seems like a good time to finally read The Idiot by Elif Batuman. This is a coming-of-age story that I often see readers rave about. This may change depending on my mood but either way I’m looking forward to reading it!
What books have you recently finished? Are there any on your TBR that you’re looking forward to?
I hope you enjoyed this post and that you’re having a wonderful day! 💕
