I’m currently reading The Bloody Chamber, a short story collection by Angela Carter. The stories in this collection serve as different versions of popular fairytales, such as ‘Beauty and the Beast’ and ‘Bluebeard’. So far, this is proving to be a great read! I’m a big fan of fairytale retellings and feminist literature so it’s right up my alley.
Loved, loved, loved What Moves the Dead by T. Kingfisher! It’s probably one of my favorite reads of the year. You can read more of my thoughts on this one in my October wrap-up!
It’s finally time! I’ll be reading The Atlas Paradox by Olivie Blake next. The Atlas Six was one of my favorite reads last year so I’ve been eagerly waiting for its sequel. I’m trying not to have too high expectations going into this one. I’m really hoping I like it as much as the first book!
